No – while we welcome referrals from dentists and doctors, you can also make an appointment with us directly.
This is not usually a problem – we can custom make an appliance to suit you. It is necessary to have four to six natural teeth to help stabilise the appliance – please call us and we’ll advise you specifically.
If you are having orthodontic treatment/invisalign, oral appliances will not work for you as they are custom fitted to a certain tooth position. Once your treatment is complete an oral appliance can be an option for you.
We expect our appliances to last for several years. The main things that stop them fitting are lots of dental treatment or being chewed by dogs!
